Submission Rules

1. All submissions must be accompanied by a suitable disclaimer. This includes a credit to ABC as creator and owner of Grey's Anatomy and credits for all other third party material used in the story (including song lyrics, poetry, etc). If a suitable disclaimer is not included, Candy-Striper.net reserves the right to add a disclaimer. Repeat offenders may be subject to further action up to and including removal of stories and termination of the author's posting account.
   Sample Disclaimer

   Disclaimer: All publicly recognizable characters, settings, etc. are the property of their respective owners. The original characters and plot are the property of the author. The author is in no way associated with the owners, creators, or producers of any media franchise and no copyright infringement is intended.
2. Stories must be submitted to the proper category. If there is an appropriate sub-category, DO NOT add your story to the main category. The submission form allows you to choose multiple categories for your story as needed. Please do NOT add your story multiple times.
3. Titles and summaries must be appropriate for all ages. "Please read", "Untitled", etc. are not acceptable titles or summaries.
4. Correct grammar and spelling are expected of all stories submitted to this site.
5. Stories involving actors/actresses and in script or screenplay format are not permitted.
6. All stories must be rated correctly and have appropriate warnings. Stories above an R rating are not allowed by our current host and therefore are strictly prohibited. Any story found having no, incomplete or incorrect warnings may be pulled from the site.
7. Stories with multiple chapters should be archived as such and NEVER as separate stories. Upload the first chapter of your story, then go to Manage Stories in your account to add additional chapters. If you have trouble with this, please contact the site administrator or ask a friend to help you.
8. Appropriate spoiler warnings for the season in which the story takes place are expected on all stories.

Candy-Striper.net reserves the right to take any course of action the site administrator deems necessary when these guidelines are violated. In most instance, we will request authors make corrections to their submissions. If such a request is ignored, the story will be deleted. Submissions found to be in violation of these rules may also be removed and the author's account suspended at the discretion of the site administrator. We reserve the right to modify these rules as needed.
